About Fundraiser

Every child deserves the chance to simply be a child — to laugh, play, learn, and dream about the future. But for families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis, life changes in an instant. Long days at the hospital, travel for treatment, financial strain, and emotional exhaustion quickly become part of everyday life. During these unimaginable moments, Candlelighters NL is there to help families feel less alone.

Candlelighters NL is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families across Newfoundland and Labrador by providing financial assistance, emotional support, family programs, and resources that help ease the burden during one of the most difficult journeys a family can face.

By supporting our 50/50 fundraiser, you are doing more than purchasing a ticket — you are helping families focus on what truly matters: caring for their child. Every contribution helps provide relief, compassion, and support to local families navigating the challenges of childhood cancer.

Your generosity can make a real difference in the lives of children and families right here in our province. Thank you for helping us bring support to those who need it most.
